From Mar 13-Apr 30, River City Bangkok is showcasing a stunning black-and-white photography book and exhibition by veteran British photographer and writer Ben Davies, who has lived and worked in Asia for the past 30 years.

Vanishing Bangkok: The Changing Face of the City will showcase a series of photographs that Davies shot over the past five years using a large Linhof film format camera. The exhibition captures Bangkok’s rich heritage and old charm—both are which are being rapidly swallowed up by urban development—through striking images of the Old Customs House on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, the teeming alleyways of Chinatown, the sleepy canals and the dilapidated buildings around the Old Town.
