We have a great place to visit, Pak Kret lies on the east bank of the lower part of the Chao Phraya River, it’s located approximately 17 kilometres from the centre of Bangkok.
The man made island is full of things to see,eat and do with a boat trip around the island costing about 70 baht.
How to get there
You can reach Ko Kret by taking the once-weekly Chao Phraya Express, this leaves the Central Pier (BTS Saphan Taksin) every Sunday at 09:00 and visits a number of attractions before returning at 15:30. The cost of the cruise and guided tour is 300 baht.
