A big part of me would like to keep this place to myself, it’s like going back in time to the Bangkok of yesteryear and a selfish part of me is afraid it will become spoilt sometime soon,it will one day catch up to the 21st century and become boring and stale, so you should visit one of my favourite places before that happens.

Talat Phlu history goes back over 200 years, it’s a Chinese community and marketplace similar to Bangkok’s Chinatown without all the tourists and the nearest BTS station is actually named Talat Phlu.

The people are amazing, there is food and small coffee shops everywhere, and it’s so laid back you would be forgiven to forget you were in the capital of Thailand.

A more detailed review will follow shorty, so here is a small gallery of what’s to come.
